Privacy Policy — Square Yards Property Search Connector

This Privacy Policy explains how the Square Yards Property Search connector (the "Connector"), a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server operated by Square Yards, handles information when it is used through Claude or any other MCP-compatible client.

We have designed the Connector to be privacy-preserving by default: it requires no sign-in, and it does not collect, log, or store information that identifies you.

What the Connector does

The Connector provides read-only access to Square Yards' publicly available real-estate information for India — property listings, new-construction projects, localities, developers, price and rate data, and general real-estate FAQs. It exposes search and lookup tools, plus two offline calculators (a home-loan EMI / affordability estimator and an area-unit converter) that compute results locally from the values you provide, without contacting any external service. It cannot modify, create, delete, or send any data, and it takes no action on your behalf in any system.

No authentication, no user accounts

The Connector operates without authentication. You do not create an account, sign in, or provide any credentials to use it. Because there is no login, the Connector has no user identity associated with any request and does not build a profile of any user.

Information we do not collect

The Connector does not collect, log, or store:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying details
• Your IP address or device identifiers
• The content of your queries or the search parameters you send
• Any authentication tokens or credentials (there are none)
• Conversation content from Claude or any other client

We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies in the Connector, and we do not sell, rent, or share any personal information — because we do not collect any.

How your request is handled

When you use the Connector, your client (for example, Claude) sends a search or lookup request to the Connector over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The Connector queries Square Yards' real-estate data, returns the matching results to your client, and retains nothing that identifies you or your request after the response is served. Requests are processed transiently to generate a response and are not stored as user records.

Aggregate, non-identifying operational metrics (for example, overall request volume or error rates) may be observed for the purpose of keeping the service reliable and secure. These metrics are not linked to any individual, query content, or user.

Data returned by the Connector

The real-estate information the Connector returns — listings, projects, localities, developers, and rates — is drawn from Square Yards' own property database and is publicly available business information. It is not personal information about you. Listing and project data is provided for informational purposes and may not always reflect real-time availability or pricing.

Third parties

The Connector does not share information with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. Your MCP client (such as Claude, operated by Anthropic) transmits your request to the Connector and displays the response; that client's own privacy policy governs how it handles your conversation. This policy covers only the Square Yards Connector.

Geographic scope

The Connector serves real-estate information for India only. It is intended for users seeking Indian property information and does not provide listings or data for other countries.

Security

Connections to the Connector are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Because the Connector holds no user accounts, credentials, or stored personal data, there is no user data at rest for the Connector to expose.

Children's privacy

The Connector is a general-purpose real-estate information tool and is not directed to children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected at this policy's published URL.
